The Cast and Crew

 

Frank L. Danko (Ariel), a Technical Theatre Professional by day and family man by night, Frank is pleased to be returning to the stage after a long hiatus. Past credits include: Sam Byck (Assassins), The Boss (Side Show), Audrey II (Little Shop), The Cowardly Lion (Wizard of Oz) and many more.

 

Ed Huether (Director/Katurian) makes his return to the theatrical stage after several years fronting the rock band Sex Type Thing: a Tribute to Stone Temple Pilots as Ed Weiland. Ed has directed the Long Island premieres of Assassins & Bat Boy the Musical, as well as productions of Social Security, Evita, Victor/Victoria and others. Onstage, Ed has been seen as Mozart in Amadeus, Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar, Duke in The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Woof in Hair and Chico Marx in Groucho: A Life in Revue. Currently, Ed is in production for the upcoming film “Send No Flowers” starring Sean Young and directed by Fred Carpenter.

 

Michael Newman (Tupolski) is thrilled to be working alongside these enormously talented gentlemen. He was last seen at various theaters in Hairspray (Edna), Annie (Warbucks) and Assassins (Sam Byck). He has performed as Applegate, Atticus, the voice of Audrey II, Jonathan Brewster, David Sarnoff, Senator Fipp, Fagin, Higgins, Principal Panch, Tevye, Sr. Nacacrelli, Richard Henry Lee & Von Trapp to mention but a few. His next endeavor will be as Ebeneezer Scrooge. He is also a professional voice-over artist.

 

Stephen T. Wangner (Michal) is pleased to be part of such a powerful piece as The Pillowman. Regionally, he has been seen in Othello (Iago), The Full Monty (Dave), Assassins (Czolgosz), Annie (Warbucks), and The Pirates of Penzance (Samuel), among many others. He has not been seen on Law and Order.

 

THE PILLOWMAN will also feature appearances by: Kim Volpe, Brian Smith, Jen Roller, Joe Mankowski, Rob Farley and Kathleen Cassidy Brammer.
